Have you ever seen a photographer run to an engagement with a backpack of camera equipment? If you had been at Nashville’s Radnor Lake Park on May 16th, you probably did. 😅  I’ve been to the park quite a few times, but for some reason I choose a different driving route that day. The route had me arriving on the east side entrance instead of the west side entrance. I was to meet Caleb and Karlee for their relaxed engagement session on the west side of the park. It would have taken more time for me to drive to the west entrance than to literally run across the trail to the west side of the lake. My decision to wear my running shoes that day was a good one.👟
Caleb and Karlee are getting married in November at Copper Ridge Event Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I just photographed the wedding of their good friends, Isaiah and Clae, at the same venue. I’m beyond excited to return to this beautiful, natural wood venue. While Caleb and Karlee explored the park, I captured their wonder with nature and love towards one another. Near the end of their relaxed engagement at Radnor State Park, they decided to do an outfit change. While they were changing, I saw the most beautiful light shinning through a wooded area. Since it was almost sunset, the light was diminishing quickly. I probably scared them because as soon as I saw them step out from the changing room, I yelled for them to come quickly. I placed them exactly where I wanted them and we had approximately two minutes of gorgeous sunset light.
