Dylan and Savannah’s gorgeous sunset engagement at Drakewood Farm was an absolute blast to photograph for this Nashville Engagement Photographer. First, let me tell you how it all began for them. Dylan was living in Wilmington, North Carolina and attended a friend’s Fourth of July party. That party is where Dylan would meet Savannah. It is said a person’s heart knows when it finds the one whom it belongs to. My favorite part of their love story is that Savannah knew by the end of their first date that Dylan was the one she would marry. Dylan felt the same way about her. After one month and two days of dating, Dylan asked for Savannah to be his wife. Naturally, she said yes! Three days after they got engaged, Savannah moved to Nashville for school. She’s studying law and is one smart lady. Dylan continued to live in Wilmington, but was driving eleven hours every weekend to Nashville. All of his commuting was to be with his beautiful fiancé and find a job.

Drakewood Farm is a beautiful wedding venue located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. It was only a bonus that the weather and sunset were perfection too. They are a playful couple who are not afraid to show their affection to one another. Their laughter is quite contagious. I found myself giddily laughing behind the camera during their session. I’m beyond excited for their November wedding at Drakewood Farm and the blessings their future holds.
