Intimate Wedding at Noelle
As a Nashville Wedding Photographer, I have had the honor of photographing weddings in many different types of locations and lighting scenarios. I’ve photographed bohemian styled weddings in the woods, intimate weddings on family land and this glamorous, intimate wedding at Noelle. If you’ve not been to the Noelle hotel, it’s a must on any downtown visit, especially if you enjoy Architecture. In 1984, the twelve story building was listed as a National Register of Historic Places. However, Noelle was originally built in 1929-1930 on land owned by the Noel family.
Before you scroll through their wedding imagery, let’s do a recap of what Scott and Britni had to say about their engagement in Iceland. “We took an eight day road trip around the country. The scenery was breathtaking. Every few hours in the car, the terrain changes. It’s like being on another planet.”
“Three days into our trip, we woke up around midnight to peek out our hotel window to see if the northern lights had come out to play. Sure enough, they were just getting fired up! We threw clothes on and hopped in the car to drive away from the lights of the small town we were in. We found the perfect spot and watched the northern lights from the car because it was freezing! After about an hour, we were ready to head back to bed. Scott started to shuffle around and said, “I know you didn’t really think you’d get to see them and I don’t think you thought this was going to happen.” He pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him. I cried like any self respecting woman would and said “YES! Of course!”.
